For the past two years, Solo Mommy Magazine (www.solomommy.com) – the publication dedicated to empowering single moms with savvier ways to live a simpler life – has celebrated single moms at its annual Mother’s Day Brunch with the "You Go, Mom!" award. This honored has been bestowed to women who are the epitome of strength, courage, and tenacity – all characteristics that the single mom embodies.
As the CEO of Solo Mommy Magazine and Event Coordinator of the 3rd Annual Mother's Day Brunch, I am pleased to inform you that our brunch committee has selected Marie as one of our 2007 “You Go, Mom!” award recipients. The brunch will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Windows Over Harlem in Harlem, NY (@ the corner of 125th Street, inside of The Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to the awards presentation, there will be a keynote speaker, special singing selection, dramatic reading, and live jazz. I encourage you to support Marie as she receives her honor by either purchasing a ticket to attend for yourself or sponsoring a single mom in need, and/or by placing an ad in our brunch journal.
