Birthdays Wishes

Letter of Reflection Written January 27, 2003 by Andrew Roane:

Dear Friends:

On a snowy Saturday morning on Feb.2..a then 26 year old Black woman from Virginia living in Harlem. Gave birth to a 8 pound 7ounce baby boy..The boy had a full head hair and smooth carmel skin..and dark brown eyes, that twinkled when he laughed..She knew this her 3rd child would be special..so she decided to name him......ANDREW..after his father but more to honor his grandfather.

And so it is my friends..on Sunday..I will celebrate another year of life.

Life has become important to me..because of all the friends and family who have gone on to eternal rest, and whom I will see again..but not yet.

I thank all of you whom I call my friends(old and new) or family for allowing me to be a part of your life, as you are a part of mine..

So when you wake up on Sunday, and thank the lord for allowing you to see HIS sun.

Thank him for me as well..for allowing me to see the sun too..

Andrew Roane

PS: Thank-you MOM..I know you are in heaven awaiting me..and we will meet again someday..
