Building Bridges to Community, Youth, & You

"When I was sick, you came and visited me"

If you know someone in NYC, Westchester, Orange County-Upstate, or Long Island who is sick, please email Ralph E. Smith at the Guardian Chronicle.

We will send our cameras to the hospital and put a smile on faces with our Lights, Camera, Action!  The Guardian Chronicle does this as a Service to the Community!

You don't have to be a Guardian, Black, White, Jew or Christian.  You just have to be someone in need of love, attention, and maybe a friend!  The Guardian Chronicle will visit you!  Email us!

Family, Friends, and Members of Various African American Civil Organizations Gathered at Harlem Hospital to Wish Mr. Lenny Rubain Well

On December 14, 2001 from 6pm to 11pm, members of the Federation of African American Civil Service Organization, the New York City Correction Guardians Association, Inc, New York State Division of Parole, and many retired members of service joined family and friends who gathered at the Lenox Community Center across the street from Harlem Hospital in New York City  to have a celebration for Mr. Rubain.

Hours before the celebration, Mr. Rubain, who lives across the street from Harlem Hospital became sick and had to be admitted.  Upon hearing this news, the group that gathered to celebrate the life of Lenny and present him with awards went into action and took the party to Lenny's Pen House Harlem Hospital Room. Many thanks to the great nurses, doctors, and security officers.

The following photos are presented to the Rubain Family and friends from Ralph E. Smith (Publisher), The Guardian Chronicle.  "May God Continue to Bless and Keep you Strong!"Click on Photo
