On December 3, 2001, Guardian Organizations from New York City, Westchester, and Upstate came out to the Grand Council of Guardians  Membership meeting at the Harlem State Office Building to listen and ask questions of  Mr. Harold E. Doley, III, the Representative from Mayor  Michael Bloomberg's Office.   The Bloomberg message is clear!  "Thank you! You helped me win!   Corrections was the only Union Leadership that supported the Michael Bloomberg  election.  The Michael Bloomberg Adminstration will reflect the workplace and the demographics of New York City." according to Mr. Harold E. Doley, III, Mr. Bloomberg's Representative who said this is the start of 4 years of dialog! This  meeting was a very powerful example of the out reach and new access to the government process.  Once scheduling is worked out,  Charles Billups, President of the Grand Council of Guardians will hold another meeting at which time Mayor Michael Bloomberg will attend.   The Guardian Chronicle!
