THE GUARDIAN CHRONICLE  http://www.guardianchronicle.com Peace Be Unto You Ralph, Fist let me introduce myself, my name is Marron Hopkins, former Chief Of Department, long time Guardian member and past Chairperson of the Guardians' Board of Directors. I ran across this newspaper quite by accident, while surfing the web and was pleasantly surprised. For retirees like myself who left the City and don't get back there much, it is hard to keep up with the happenings and the people you spent so much of your life with. I have enjoyed reading the news the paper provides and spent, many a moment smiling as they brought back many a wonderful moment. I applaud the effort of the men and women who may up the current organization for keeping the dream and struggle alive. Since I don't envision returning to NY anytime soon, please share my well wishes to the body at your earliest opportunity and know that many "old-timers," while often silent for many different reasons, are solidly behind them.
